Membership

Membership is open to all people interested in perfusion in the categories below. Only fellows, full members and foundation members are entitled to vote at meetings. Interested persons should write to the secretary for an application form or click here to download an application form. An entrance fee is payable upon acceptance and a subscription fee is payable annually.

Membership Categories

 Fellow Clinical perfusionists who are Foundation members or clinical perfusionists who have been full members of the Society for three or more years are eligible.
Full member Clinical perfusionists who are the holders of certification issued by the Australasian Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion and who are currently engaged in perfusion.
Student member Trainee clinical perfusionists who have been accepted for the Australasian Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Structured Course in Perfusion.
Sustaining member All persons who are, in the opinion of the Executive Committee, closely associated with perfusion.
Corporate member Partnerships of medical practitioners and corporations which are in the opinion of the Executive Committee, closely associated with the profession of perfusion.
Honorary fellow   Persons who, in the opinion of the Executive Committee, have made an outstanding contribution to the profession of perfusion or to the Society.
Foundation member   Clinical perfusionists who are foundation members of the Unincorporated Society.
Overseas member Clinical perfusionists who are actively engaged in clinical perfusion outside of Australia and New Zealand.
Life member  Persons who have rendered outstanding service to the Society or to the Board, as awarded by voting members at an Annual General Meeting.
