Perfusion Student Registration
Perfusion students in clinical positions need to be registered with the ABCP more information can be found here
ABCP Executive
At the first Board meeting after the ANZCP AGM all positions were vacated and nominations called for the various postions.
Mr. Arthur Preovolos(Melbourne) was elected as Chairman.
Mr. Clarke Thuys (Melbourne) was elected as Secretary
Mr. Chris Morley(Melbourne) & Mr.Mark Mennen (Melbourne) make up the other members of the Board
Recertification.
The registry of perfusionists has been updated. (July 2010)
The ABCP requirements for recertification have been finalised. A copy of those requirements can be viewed by clicking here.
Swinburne Perfusion ONLine Update
As you are all aware the Swinburne perfusion On Line course is coming to an end. The ANZCP and ABCP are currently in negotiations to find the course a new home. Perfusion education in Australia and New Zealand is the major priority of the College and Board, and both these groups are working towards a swift resolution to the current situation.

ABCP Exams 2010
The exams will be held in Melbourne in August
Those intending to present for the exams please contact Mr.Clarke Thuys, ABCP Secretary
New Students
However units with new trainees, who are enrolled in the Swinburne Perfusion course, should register them with the ABCP secretary
Exam Fees
Important: candidates are reminded that the exam fee must be paid before they can sit for the exam.
Candidates who present for any of the ABCP exams will be charged a $500.00 exam fee.
This fee will apply to candidates who are sitting, or resitting, one or all sections of the exam.
