Australasian Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
COURSE DEFERMENT
It is the Board's Policy in connection with the Australasian Diploma of Perfusion that:
- Students will be expected to study Module subjects and sit
subsequent examinations at reasonably spaced intervals throughout the
2-year duration of the Course.
- Students who for some good reason are unable to complete the Course
of study within the specified period shall apply to the Board for an
extension of time. The Board may, if satisfied with the reason given,
grant an extension of the Course study period for that student, and
may at its discretion grant more than one such extension. If the Board
grants this extra year it will incur a further cost of $220 for
Australian and New Zealand students and $330 for students outside of
Australia and New Zealand..
- A student who does not complete the Course study within the specified period and who has not asked for an extension of time shall be asked for an explanation. The Board, if not satisfied with the explanation forthcoming may rule that the particular student is, from that time on, excluded from the Course
